Licensed Electrician

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled E-1 Licensed Electrician to perform, supervise, and manage residential and commercial electrical projects throughout Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee residential and commercial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Install, troubleshoot, and service: Electrical panels and switchgear Service upgrades Lighting systems Emergency generators
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, Connecticut State Building Code, and local municipal requirements.
• Cook up and obtain permits as required.
• Cook, assist, and lead E-2 electricians, apprentices, and helpers.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in residential and commercial environments.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and project progress.
• Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Contractor License required.
• Minimum 10+ years of electrical experience in residential and commercial environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and Connecticut electrical codes.
• Experience with: New construction Renovations and remodels Service work Generator installations Commercial tenant fit-outs Troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Ability to supervise crews and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and construction sites.
