About the role
OCEANAIR is seeking a Licensed Customs Broker to support and oversee customs clearance operations while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Classify goods according to Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) clarification and valuation of merchandise.
- Prepare and process import documentation according to customs regulations.
- Sign documents on behalf of clients using Power of Attorney (POA).
- Clear goods through customs and arrange for the delivery of goods to the designated destination as per the client agreement.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License (required)
- 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage or international trade operations
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Partner Government Agency requirements
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive issues
- Clear, professional communication skills with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities
