Responsibilities

  • Operates crane truck and semi-truck with 53' trailer
  • Verifies and secures loads
  • Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips
  • Drives truck to assigned destinations
  • Auxiliary tasks include assisting workers in unloading and loading trucks, maintaining truck logs, performing emergency roadside repairs, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, sorting and placing materials, filling work orders, maintaining inventory records, and delivering and picking up permit applications.
  • Utilizes tow-behind trailer for deliveries and pickups
  • Understands and writes lift plans for crane operations
  • Works overtime and off-hour shifts as required (may include overnight shifts)

Qualifications

  • Crane Operator Certification (OSHA/NCCCO) for Boom Truck—Fixed Cab (BTF)
  • Unrestricted CDL Class A
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years driving experience
  • Possess or ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
  • Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting or exceeding Company standards
  • Current Class A CDL License
  • Previous experience operating a forklift
  • Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
  • Average experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
