Job Overview
MPAC Healthcare is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered mental health care to seniors in a skilled‑nursing facility setting. The role operates like a private practice without the back‑office hassle, allowing clinicians to manage their own caseload, schedule, and compensation within a 40‑hour work week. The majority of time is spent delivering clinical services, with the remainder dedicated to documentation and facility correspondence. Clinicians work on‑site with residents and families and serve as active, lead members of an interdisciplinary team of physicians and nurse practitioners.

- Document all clinical encounters in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements.
- Stay current on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and social services—to meet residents’ emotional, social, and psychological needs.
- Communicate effectively with facility teams, patients, families, and MPAC Regional Clinical Managers to ensure program success.
- Maintain high organization to manage patient needs, documentation, and overall mental‑health care delivery.
- Adapt to the ever‑changing environment of a skilled‑nursing facility.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong medical knowledge and understanding of CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid documentation.
- Experience in nursing home or hospital facilities.
- Master’s degree and a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in the state of practice.
- Minimum two years of counseling and therapy experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental‑health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple settings and stakeholders (patients, families, nursing staff, social services, other MPAC providers).
- High level of organization to manage documentation and resident needs effectively.
- Comfort with the dynamic environment of a skilled‑nursing facility.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Passion for serving older adults.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience in the nursing‑home space is a plus.
Benefits
- Five weeks of paid time off (including personal, sick, CME, and holidays).
- Comprehensive benefits package: health insurance, dental insurance, and 401(k).
- Competitive compensation package.
- Flexibility and autonomy—private‑practice perks without back‑office responsibilities.
- Ongoing education through workshops, one‑on‑one or small‑group sessions, and weekly Coding Corner updates.
- A fun, diverse culture that encourages relationship‑building across the organization.
- Support for a healthy work‑life balance.
- Opportunities for rapid growth and long‑term career advancement within a fast‑growing company.
