About the role
Freedom House Recovery Center is hiring a full‑time Licensed Clinical Therapist (social worker or counselor) to provide outpatient mental health and substance‑use services. The position offers both in‑office and remote work possibilities and is ideal for clinicians seeking meaningful clinical work with strong team support in a mission‑driven setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence‑based practices
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments (CCAs)
- Develop treatment plans
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- North Carolina licensure: LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCAS, LCASA, LMFT, or LMFTA (required)
- Additional NC licenses (LCAS or LCASA) preferred but not required
- Experience with mental health and substance‑use disorders as a counselor or clinical social worker
- Experience with multidisciplinary, team‑based care
- Strong documentation and time‑management skills
- Demonstrated cultural competence in clinical practice
