Program Description
Hope Healing Connection (HHC) provides mental health and assessment services for adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples in the Inland Empire and Orange County, offering both in-office and telehealth services. Specializing in ADHD testing, HHC aims to offer comprehensive and individualized support.
Position Summary

Clinicians will provide comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, psychotherapy, case management, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with children and their families.
- Provide individual and/or family therapy, formulate diagnoses, and complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
- Acquire and apply up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based interventions and methodologies.
- Administer measures such as the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 and utilize results to inform treatment.
- Utilize Whole Person Care model when treatment planning to maximize client empowerment.
- Comply with all HIPAA and SCCS confidentiality standards.
- Adhere to all relevant standards and regulations for productivity, timeliness, and documentation.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with outside agencies to ensure clients' treatment goals are met and in compliance with court-orders.
- Attend all required meetings, such as Children and Family Team meetings.
- Effectively collaborate with the program's multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and cohesive care.
- Manage crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
- Have the opportunity to provide psychotherapy to commercially insured clients for an additional stipend through South Coast’s Hope Healing Connection Program.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Understanding of the child welfare system and child development principles.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic approaches for high-risk youth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain organized, and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work effectively as a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Education/Experience: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required. PsyD/PhD/LCSW/LMFT. Licensed (2 years post-licensure preferred). 2+ years’ experience in assessment/diagnostic skills & individual and family therapy skills.
- Licensure, Registration, Certification: Trained and/or certified in at least 2 EBP’s with at least 1 year of experience working in that EBP, for example: EMDR, PCIT, TF-CBT. Must complete training in ADHD therapy services within 6 months of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to drive a motor vehicle without restrictions, often in heavy traffic and frequently long distances (one hour or more) to ensure safe transport to client settings and to safely transport clients to appointments as needed. Senses of vision, hearing, and smell sufficient to regularly operate a motor vehicle, to visualize threats in the environment or risks to clients, and to operate safely in the field.

Pay
$85,300 - $105,000
