Licensed Clinical Therapist - EAP
About the role
The EAP Therapist position at Harbor is part-time, offering 20 hours per week with 5 hours worked after 5PM. The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, along with an independent license to practice as a Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist in Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Maintains responsibility for individual, family, and group counseling of EAP and clinical clients.
- Provides confidential and timely problem identification services for employee clients.
- Consults with work organization leadership on managing troubled employees and enhancing the work environment.
- Completes diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and updates as required.
- Develops and presents training curriculum and materials in various employee-management related areas.
- Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and external resources.
- Participates in agency-wide and departmental clinical research.
- Facilitates Critical Incident Stress Management services as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Independent license to practice as a Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist in Ohio.
- Honest, dependable, self-disciplined, organized, and team-oriented personality.
- Good documentation, treatment, and assessment skills.
- Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Word.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance policy.
- Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programming for outpatient settings.
- Prior experience in chemical dependency or proven experience and training in treating substance use disorders.
- Prior experience facilitating trainings.
- CEAP certification within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
- Critical Incident Stress Debriefing training within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
- CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications within 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
- Must have or obtain CEAP within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
- Must complete Critical Incident Stress Debriefing training within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
