Licensed Clinical Therapist - EAP

About the role

The EAP Therapist position at Harbor is part-time, offering 20 hours per week with 5 hours worked after 5PM. The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, along with an independent license to practice as a Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Maintains responsibility for individual, family, and group counseling of EAP and clinical clients.
• Provides confidential and timely problem identification services for employee clients.
• Consults with work organization leadership on managing troubled employees and enhancing the work environment.
• Completes diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and updates as required.
• Develops and presents training curriculum and materials in various employee-management related areas.
• Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and external resources.
• Participates in agency-wide and departmental clinical research.
• Facilitates Critical Incident Stress Management services as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Independent license to practice as a Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist in Ohio.
• Honest, dependable, self-disciplined, organized, and team-oriented personality.
• Good documentation, treatment, and assessment skills.
• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Word.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance policy.
• Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programming for outpatient settings.
• Prior experience in chemical dependency or proven experience and training in treating substance use disorders.
• Prior experience facilitating trainings.
• CEAP certification within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
• Critical Incident Stress Debriefing training within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
• CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain CEAP within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
• Must complete Critical Incident Stress Debriefing training within 1 year of full-time employment or prorated for part-time.
