Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Part Time
Position Overview
The LCSW will provide high-quality, trauma-informed counseling for older adults, caregivers, families, and other community members. The ideal candidate is an experienced, ethical, and person-centered clinician who can work independently in community-based settings while being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy
- Offer individual, family, and/or group therapy based on clinical fit and program needs
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in JFCS’ electronic health record system
- Cookordination with intake, clinical staff, and community partners as appropriate
- Maintain licensure, credentialing, documentation, privacy, and ethical standards
- Support the continued growth of JFCS’ Behavioral Health program
Required Qualifications
- Current Oregon LCSW license in good standing
- Clinical experience providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with insurance-based clinical practice
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Respect for the Jewish community and the broader communities JFCS serves
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid/OHP, or commercial insurance documentation
- Experience working with older adults, caregivers, families, or individuals with disabilities
- Group facilitation experience
- Familiarity with Portland-area community resources
- Experience in nonprofit or community-based settings
Schedule And Setting
This is a part-time, hourly employee position. The schedule will be based on program needs, referral volume, and employee availability. Services may be provided at JFCS and/or partner locations, and some local travel may be required.
