About the role

We are seeking a licensed behavioral health clinician with demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric and psychosocial evaluations for individuals with mental health needs. In this role, you will assess, document, and support housing application determinations through thorough clinical evaluations and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for housing applicants, focusing on mental status, psychiatric diagnoses, treatment histories, medication, and clinical recommendations.
  • Provide high-quality behavioral health assessments through a telehealth platform.
  • Collaborate virtually to deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to clients seeking housing support.
  • Adapt to virtual platforms, ensuring effective communication and exceptional telehealth service delivery.
  • Engage in continuous professional development within the telehealth landscape.
  • Use secure, encrypted channels for all client interactions to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • Evaluate client risk levels and, when necessary, develop and implement safety planning/monitoring.
  • Participate in virtual case conferences to coordinate clients' care and housing application processes.
  • Generate timely, accurate clinical recommendations aligned with clients’ diagnoses and housing application requirements.
  • Produce accurate encounter notes with diagnoses and appropriate CPT codes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client treatment records.
  • Attend one-hour weekly supervision sessions.
  • Stay accessible for ongoing training and certifications as required.
  • Perform other duties in support of the agency's quality assurance process.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work required.
  • New York State LMSW or LCSW licensure required.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychosocial assessments, and preparing clinical documentation to support housing applications.
  • Proven experience in telehealth psychotherapy and evidence-based treatment methods.
  • Familiarity with the housing application process, including the 2010e application for supportive housing, is a plus.

This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by the Retail Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU). Terms and conditions of employment may be covered by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

Pay

$75,000 - $85,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
