About the role

As a PRN Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health Professional, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Helena, MT. Specific hours may vary based on business needs within the operating hours of 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  • Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
  • Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
  • Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
  • Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
  • Enter data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Licensed as a mental health clinician as per state requirements: examples include Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). LMSW is not accepted across states.
  • Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Prior counseling experience in the treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc.
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating suicidal behaviors.
  • Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
  • Previous clinical experience in integrated behavioral health settings is preferred.
