Responsibilities

  • Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  • Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
  • Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
  • Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
  • Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
  • Enters data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Licensed mental health clinicians including: LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LCPC.
  • LMSW needs to be a LCSW ("C" for clinical).
  • Certification in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) within 12 months of hire.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc.
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.
  • Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
  • Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred.

Pay

$60,902.40 - $76,128.00 annually.

Schedule

Part-time schedule of 24 hours/week to be determined within the hours of Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm. Strong preference for Tuesday and/or Wednesday workdays. May include flexibility for additional hours, as available.
