Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one counseling for employees experiencing workplace stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other behavioral health concerns.
  • Lead onsite engagement activities, promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, connect employees to available resources, and collaborate with employers' benefits to deliver measurable wellbeing initiatives.
  • Develop and present webinars, wellness presentations, and educational materials, engage employees throughout the site, promote Premise Health services, and foster a culture of wellbeing through creative outreach and relationship building.
  • Use a strengths-based approach to support patient well-being.
  • Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
  • Help patients gain insight, set goals, and plan actions for personal and social development.
  • Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues using assessments and records.
  • Apply evidence-based interventions within scope of practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS.
  • Counsel patients on stress, substance abuse, and family issues to modify or improve behavior.
  • Collaborate with patients on treatment goals and outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical care team activities, including consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.
  • Enter data into patient’s chart to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Licensed as a mental health clinician as per state requirements: examples include LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, LPCMH, LCPC.
  • CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc.
  • Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, and cultural competence to meet the diverse needs of the population served in a treatment setting.
  • Experience identifying, preventing, and treating of suicidal behaviors.
  • Experience with patient referral management and knowledge of available referral resources.
  • Previous clinical experiences in integrated behavioral health settings are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 8AM - 4:30PM.
