Licensed Care Partner (LNA) - Per Diem

SCOPE OF POSITION

Licensed Care Partners interact directly with residents and are an integral part of the resident experience. They deliver high quality, person-centered care in a fast-paced environment. By developing authentic relationships with residents and family members, they help residents lead lives of enrichment and ensure their wellness needs are met.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Engage with residents in a friendly, caring, and warm manner by initiating conversation and activities.
• Support residents in doing as much for themselves as possible and promote positive leisure time.
• Provide hands-on care that may include assisting with meals, laundry, showering, vital signs, and more.
• Be continually educated on the best documentation practices.
• Observe/report any changes or concerns of physical, psychological, and social changes to the Wellness Coordinator or Wellness Manager.
• Follow all established safety and infection control policies/procedures and intervene/report unsafe situations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A High School Diploma or GED;
• Two years related experience in a Health Care setting and/or training;
• An equivalent combination of education, work and experience will be considered.
• A Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) required.
• CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified.
• National Caregiver Certification Course (NCCC) welcomed, not required.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

• 2nd Shift: $2.75/Hour
• 3rd Shift: $3.50/Hour
• Weekend Premium: $2.00/Hour
