About the role
Familylinks is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Behavioral Specialist (LBS) for their growing Autism and ABA services. The LBS will assess referred individuals, collaborate with the treatment team to design and direct the implementation of the treatment plan, and support, supervise, and train behavioral health technicians.
Responsibilities
- Develop and supervise individualized ABA programs for participants using up-to-date research and evidence-based practices
- Conduct assessments on new referrals and use assessment data to design treatment plans, protocols, and implementation procedures
- Work collaboratively with other LBSs and BCBAs as a co-lead on individual treatment plans
- Complete 1440 billable hours per year (28 hours per week / 120 per month on average)
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of behavior technicians (BHTs) in accordance with IBHS regulations
- Maintain accountability to the identified expectations for performance, compliance and quality standards
- Record time and attendance via HRIS and Timekeeping system
- Attend meetings/training as requested/required for licensure and Familylinks employment
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Applied behavior Analysis, education or other related field
- CURRENT AND ACTIVE Licensed Behavioral Specialist PA license
- Experience working with children ages 2-21 implementing ABA
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members
- Commitment to maintain client and family confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws and internal policies and procedures
- Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, technology & telehealth, and relevant training to perform job responsibilities to required standard
- Ability to relay clinical protocols in easy-to-understand manner
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and respond efficiently
