About the role
Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide social work and counseling services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- At least 1 year of outpatient or inpatient experience (desired)
Responsibilities
- Assess the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient
- Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans addressing identified needs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of developed plans and initiate changes as needed
