Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor -SBOP

Responsibilities
- Provide integrated treatment supporting the needs of both behavioral and physical health care to clients admitted to Berks Counseling Center.
- Be an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Screen, assess, and evaluate potential clients.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling.
- Effectively assess client treatment needs and develop a comprehensive individualized integrated treatment plan.
- Utilize collaborative documentation to complete clinical documentation that meets compliance standards, medical necessity guidelines, and agency standards as to timeliness and accuracy of documentation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related social service field required.
- Active PA Licensure (LPC, LMFT or LCSW) required.
- LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with counseling experience in mental health and/or drug and alcohol required.
- Experience with mental health required.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours of operation, which are 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-4pm Friday with Saturday hours, when applicable.
Preferred candidates will
- Have experience with substance abuse.
- Have experience working with adolescents.
Physical Requirements
SEEING: Must be able to see well enough to read reports and use computer.
HEARING: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate to clients, vendors, and coworkers.
MOBILITY: Must have mobility to move about the agency. Must have mobility to move about the community.
LIFTING/PULLING/PUSHING: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
OTHER: Must be able to write, type and use technology.
