Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor
About the role
Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
Administer individual and group therapy.
Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge including recommending resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Licensed Counselor specializing in Mental Health, Licensed Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction, Licensed Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice, Licensed Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field required.
Qualifications
- Eligible candidates must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field and must be licensed as a LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW.
- Full licensure is strongly preferred, may be required depending on the position.
- Some positions may accept Associate level licensure.
