Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor-CONTINGENT-Detroit

GENERAL SUMMARY

Provides behavioral health counseling services.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and establishes therapy treatment goals.
• Administers individual and group therapy sessions.
• Maintains thorough and confidential patient records.
• Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Provides patients with information about community resources and therapeutic activities.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and community providers to ensure active and coordinated care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree with at least 3 years' experience in counseling, social work, or psychology.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist (LP), or Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• Ability to work at least 1 evening per week.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider preferred.

55% of total services provided.

Schedule

Approximately 20 hours per week, flexible with a minimum of 1 evening per week; clinic operates Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, no weekends or major holidays.
