Career Description
The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician II position at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless requires providing clinical services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interactions
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Providing crisis intervention and support services as needed
- Engaging in ongoing education and training related to behavioral health
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
- Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting
- Pass a background check
