Licensed Behavior Specialist (Lifespan Clinician)

About the role

The PA Licensed Behavior Specialist will develop treatment plans and authorization documentation for children and adolescents and/or adults in schools, homes, and community locations. Access Services offers a competitive benefits package, including a salary of $78,000, an uncapped incentive paid monthly at $30 per billable hour exceeding 128 in a 4-week cycle, and a full-time position with primarily daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individualized clinical documentation identifying target behaviors, replacement behaviors, and interventions with team members.
• Design and implement behavior plans to support and sustain change.
• Establish criteria for discharge from services and develop a robust discharge plan.
• Lead the treatment team, ensuring communication across all stakeholders and skills generalization.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and expectations of performing 30 billable hours weekly.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or counseling field.
• Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in the state of PA.
• Completed 13-hour Functional Behavior Assessment through ODP prior to hire.
• One year of experience providing behavioral health services post-masters degree preferred.
• Strong foundation of Behavior Analytic skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Thorough knowledge of rules and guidelines mandated by medical assistance and managed care systems.
• Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use, workplace applications, platforms, and technologies.

Qualifications

• A valid US driver's license for at least two years, not including time with permit.
• No serious traffic convictions within the past three years.
• Exposure to high-stress situations involving verbal aggression, physical outbursts, and emotional dysregulation.
• Tolerance for loud environments, physical contact, and sensory stimulation.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all staff and the public.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Thorough knowledge of rules and guidelines mandated by medical assistance and managed care systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate, when providing services to bilingual or non-English speaking families, and clearly write comprehensive English only notes.
• Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use, workplace applications, platforms, and technologies.
