Licensed Athletic Trainer

About the role

BenchMark Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for an Athletic Trainer to join our team in Jacksonville, NC serving the Onslow County Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to local schools, community events and or organized sports in accordance with applicable state laws, rules and regulations
• Provide athletic training services in accordance with established contracts
• Possible clinical responsibilities based on location
• Work closely and collaboratively with all members of the sports medicine team
• Work closely and collaboratively with supervising / team physicians
• Provide sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes, parents and others
• Conduct athletic training / sports medicine workshops, as requested
• Maintain daily treatment records and documentation on patients
• Effectively communicate with all members of the sports medicine team, patients, family members and coaches

Qualifications

• Current athletic training license or eligible in state of position
• Current certification by and in good standing with the Board of Certification
• Demonstrates competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in athletic training
• CPR Certified
• Strong decision and problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing and the ability to interface successfully with various individuals
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
