About the role
AACI is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive, client-centered, and specialized services to over 2,100 survivors of torture and their families through our CST program. This multidisciplinary, holistic, and strengths-based approach includes individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychological and medical evaluations for political asylum cases, and social and legal support.
As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will deliver direct behavioral health services in diverse settings such as homes, clinics, and field environments. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group therapy sessions and providing case management services, all while ensuring cultural relevance and sensitivity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct behavioral health services in homes, clinics, and field environments.

Requirements
- Licensed in California as a Marriage Family Therapist, Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist.
- Master’s degree in social work or psychology; or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- One year or more of direct clinical experience working with refugees.

Pay
Salary range: $84,856.00 - $95,000.00
