Licensed Associate Counselor - Full Time

About the role

Seeking provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing New Jersey licensure as an LPC to deliver a combination of telehealth and face-to-face mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and children.
• Conduct intakes, diagnose, and treat depression and anxiety, preferably under supervision.
• Maintain a minimum availability of 25 sessions weekly with flexible scheduling.
• Utilize modern clinical technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
• Build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, supporting client progress.

Qualifications & Skills

• Approved by the board as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC).
• Seeking independent licensure and residing within 45 minutes of the designated office.
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program with relevant counseling experience.
• Experience in diagnosing and conducting intakes according to DSM-5 preferred.
• Open to treating a variety of clients, including those requiring couples or children's therapy.
• Comfortable working with clinical technology and committed to client progress.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
