Responsibilities

• Performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Vanguard Skin Specialists.
• Actively promotes/sells skincare products from clara and services at Vanguard Aesthetics.
• Provides appropriate patient education and after-care instructions.
• Provides recommendations for cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans within specified timeframes.
• Aids in the development of advertising and promotional materials.
• Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding all available cosmetic treatment options available.
• Responsible for aftercare instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient and from the patient to the doctor and schedule appropriate follow up and treatments.
• Adheres to compliance and completes compliance training.

Qualifications

• Aesthetician degree or commensurate experience
• 1-2 years of related experience in a dermatology or plastic surgery medical office is preferred
• Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence
• Excellent verbal and written skills required
• Alignment with the values and mission of Vanguard Skin Specialists and clara

Schedule

This position has the option of full-time or part-time position with business hours Tuesday to Friday, approximately 25-40 hours per week. This position is based in Colorado Springs and includes working from multiple locations such as our Briargate and Northgate offices.

Pay

Compensation is a combination of base pay plus bonus. We do not accept gratuities at Vanguard Aesthetics and clara. Base pay is $20/hour with eligibility for overtime. Product commission is through team-based profit share with eligibility after 90 days. A service bonus is awarded each quarter and is based on meeting minimum service metrics established after the first 30 days.

Physical Working Conditions

• Must be able to maintain a fast-paced schedule and work style
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move quickly
• Must be able to adjust exam room chairs and move/lift to 20 lbs
• Communicate clearly on the telephone and via email
• Operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, printer, copier, scanner, or fax
• Can identify color on the computer and software used
