License Owner / Operator, Northern Virginia

About the role

At Stranger Soccer, we're expanding our unique football experience platform to new cities and are looking for a License Owner / Operator in Northern Virginia to take the reins. This role is designed for individuals who understand football culture, thrive on building something meaningful, and are ready to own and operate their own venture with the support of a proven global brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations including scheduling, player management, and facility coordination
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow the local football community
• Recruit and manage a team of coaches and volunteers
• Ensure every game delivers a consistent, high-quality experience
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations
• Collaborate with the headquarters team to implement best practices and innovations

Requirements

• Strong local insight into football culture and community dynamics
• Strategic thinking and leadership skills
• Experience in business operations and/or entrepreneurship
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with full support from headquarters
• Passion for football and a desire to make a difference

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sports management or related field
• Experience in managing teams and operations
• Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
