About the role
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the museum, including exhibitions, collections management, and public programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of exhibitions and public programs.
- Manage the museum’s collections, ensuring their preservation and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure the museum meets its financial goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, History, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in museum administration.
- Experience with fundraising and grant writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of museum standards and best practices.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with social media marketing.
- Knowledge of digital platforms for audience engagement.
