About the role

The Department is looking for an experienced team player who has the desire to be part of a progressive community library working hard to serve the needs of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, planning, administering, and leading educational activities
  • Providing assistance to patrons in locating educational, professional and recreational material
  • Assisting with the development of operating policies and procedures for assigned Library section
  • Evaluating and selecting materials
  • Preparing bibliographies, booklists, and program guides
  • Providing work guidance to Library staff
  • Delivering a variety of programs for youth and adults in the Kodiak community
  • May be assigned specific program area(s), including but not limited to Access Services, Collection Services, and Youth Services
