Library Media Technician II

4-hour position (4–8 hours per day, 11 months / 220 days per year). Open to both current employees and the public; internal candidates will be given priority.

Pay

• Hourly salary range (CSEA Range 128):
  • Step A: $29.58
  • Step B: $31.08
  • Step C: $32.65
  • Step D: $34.30
  • Step E: $36.04
  • Step F: $37.86

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of clerical or library experience, including computer operations and library circulation functions

Selection process

• Competitive application screening for qualifications and completeness
• Written/performance exam (40% of score)
• Oral panel interview (60% of score)
• Passing score required on each portion
• Final selection from the three highest-ranking candidates
• Exam dates to be determined
