About the role
We are looking for a Probationary Library Media Specialist (.8 FTE) to join our District.
Responsibilities
- Foster a love of reading in grades PK-12
- Support responsible digit citizenship
- Maintain all library technology
- Curate age-appropriate book collections for all ages
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with all students
- Work collaboratively with co-professionals
- Communicate effectively with students and parents
- Supply a safe and nurturing environment where all students feel supported
- Genrefy and inventory collections
Requirements
Valid New York State Teacher Certification in the following area: Library Media Specialist
