About the role

The primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day operations of the library at the middle school level, ensuring students are effective users of ideas and information.

Responsibilities

• Manage library operations and resources
• Develop and implement programs in Maker Space
• Teach research skills and technology

Qualifications

• Eligible for or hold a Virginia teaching license with a Library Media Specialist Pre-K-12 endorsement
• Eligible for the same if not already licensed
• Salary Range based on the 2026-2027 Teacher Salary Scale is $54,590 - $85,329
• Additional supplemental pay for 10 additional days
• Graduate degree may result in higher salary
