Qualifications & Requirements
- MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited program is preferred.
- A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible professional library experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or administrative capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
- Demonstrated knowledge of library administration, HR management, and budget planning.
- Familiarity with computer applications, emerging library technology, and integrated library systems (ILS).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation And Benefits
- The Director works a flexible schedule that primarily encompasses regular daytime business hours but requires adjustment to accommodate evening/weekend meetings, community events, and professional conferences.
