About the Role

Plans, monitors, and manages internal programs from initiation through completion. Leads or coordinates programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and indirect people management. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions. Responsibilities fall within the Project Management Function as a generalist or across multiple disciplines.

Provides leadership to managers and may also have professional staff. Must have at least one manager-level direct report and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams. Develops departmental plans, including business, production, and/or organizational priorities. Decisions are guided by resource availability and organizational objectives, with consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Has P&L responsibility.
• Directs and oversees corporate programs that meet the needs of the organization, its employees, or customers.
• Develops and implements program processes and policies, directs program management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
• Directs the work of programs staff to ensure completion on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.
• Ensures activities comply with organizational policies and relevant external regulations.
• Reviews all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
• Presents program status updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees, including responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions (with concurrence from HR & General Managers).

Requirements

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years of experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• Critical professional-related technical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.
• Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel likely.
