Library Clerk

About the role

LIBRARY CLERK – Part-time 20 hours/week public service position at the John Gould Fletcher Library. Seeking energetic, customer service-oriented applicants with exceptional sorting ability, great attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shelving items
• Shelf reading
• Emptying book bins
• Working the circulation desk
• Resolving patron issues

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Push and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Lift and squat

Schedule

Must be able to work Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Part‑time 20 hours/week.

Pay

The pay is $15.00 per hour.
