About the role
Serves as the recognized resource and subject matter expert for all library and law library operations at the Kinross Correctional Facility. Oversees daily library functions, ensures secure and compliant access to library and legal resources for inmates, and supervises all prisoner Library Clerks and Legal Writers. Manages the Legal Writer Program, the Electronic Law Library, and all coordination with outside service providers. Responsible for procurement, reporting, recordkeeping, inventories, and other assigned duties.

Requirements
- Education: Possession of a master's degree in library science.
- Experience: Librarian 9 - No specific type or amount is required. Librarian 10 - One year of professional experience providing librarian services equivalent to a Librarian 9. Librarian P11 - Two years of professional experience providing librarian services equivalent to a Librarian, including one year equivalent to a Librarian 10. Librarian 12 - Three years of professional experience providing librarian services equivalent to a Librarian, including one year equivalent to a Librarian P11.
