About the role

Omexom offers a LIA (Lärande i Arbete) internship for students studying to become electrical power engineers. This is an opportunity to contribute to a secure and stable electricity supply while being a key part of the energy transition. You will work alongside experienced colleagues in a dynamic industry focused on electrical distribution.

LIA is security-classified, requiring a background check and security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585). The security review must be approved before the internship can begin.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects within electrical distribution, railway systems, lighting, and EV charging infrastructure.
  • Assist in building, operating, and maintaining critical infrastructure for energy producers, grid owners, and infrastructure developers.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop smart solutions in a fast-moving energy landscape.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a vocational higher education program (Yrkeshögskola) for electrical power engineering.
  • Must specify the exact dates of your LIA period in your application.
  • Ability to pass a security clearance process, including a background check and interview.
