About the Role

This is an office-based position requiring a daily commute to our Jamaica, Queens office. The LHCSA Recruitment Specialist plays a crucial role in recruiting and identifying Home Health Aides to join our LHCSA team. The Recruiter focuses on candidates who currently hold a certification as a Home Health Aide and understands the unique business unit of FreedomCare and the importance of having a strong team of certified Home Health Aides to support our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume, full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for new staff members within our homecare agency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and internal policies and procedures
  • Follow up on leads from Health Plans and internal staff
  • Leverage the Home Health Registry to locate eligible potential HHAs
  • Maintain a presence at healthcare job fairs and create open house events
  • Maintain up-to-date notes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Coordinate follow-up interviews with required team members
  • Provide emergency backfill on shifts as needed (HHA-related work)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting home health aides in a similar environment
  • Fluent in Spanish (Bilingual Spanish/English)
  • High energy, well-spoken, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with behavioral-based interviewing
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under time pressure, and multitask while remaining composed
  • Comfortable with computers and the ability to learn and operate scheduling and training software systems
  • Preference given to those with home health care experience or who have managed/organized home health care services for a loved one

Pay

The base pay range for this role is between $23.00 and $25.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
