About the role
You will work as part of Intermountain’s LGBTQ+ Primary Care Clinic to deliver high-quality, culturally competent, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population. This role entails providing general primary care for LGBTQ+ patients (18+), including management of HIV pre/post exposure prophylaxis, gender affirming hormone therapy, and care of patients living with HIV.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, culturally competent, patient-centered care to LGBTQ+ patients (18+)
- Manage HIV pre/post exposure prophylaxis
- Provide gender affirming hormone therapy
- Care for patients living with HIV
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Accredited residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility
- Experience level required or preferred
- Active, unobstructed state medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
Qualifications
- Experience in gender-affirming care
- Experience in managing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
- Experience in care of patients living with HIV
- Prior primary care experience
