LGBTQ+ Health Physician

About the role

You will work as part of Intermountain’s LGBTQ+ Primary Care Clinic to deliver high-quality, culturally competent, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population. This role entails providing general primary care for LGBTQ+ patients (18+), including management of HIV pre/post exposure prophylaxis, gender affirming hormone therapy, and care of patients living with HIV.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, culturally competent, patient-centered care to LGBTQ+ patients (18+)
• Manage HIV pre/post exposure prophylaxis
• Provide gender affirming hormone therapy
• Care for patients living with HIV

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Accredited residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility
• Experience level required or preferred
• Active, unobstructed state medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA

Qualifications

• Experience in gender-affirming care
• Experience in managing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
• Experience in care of patients living with HIV
• Prior primary care experience
