LG Channels Content Operations Specialist - 6 month Contract Position

Job Summary

We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Content Operations Specialist for LG Channels on the North American Platform Content & Services Team!

Position Summary

LG Channels is a Free, Ad Supported streaming service available globally on LG Smart TVs. It is a top app on the LG webOS platform and continues to be a source of free entertainment for millions of viewers that increasingly have cut the cord looking for News, TV Shows, Movies and more. The content operations specialist for LG Channels will ensure the day-to-day content business runs seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain partner reporting, including channel and VOD performance data, as well as financial reporting
• Collaborate with advertising and finance teams for timely reporting delivery and payments
• Support new partners in the onboarding process
• Cook up asset deliveries from content partners and service providers
• Monitor and reconcile partner billing and payments
• Track and log technical and operational issues with LG Channels
• Leverage analytics tools to create presentations and contribute to partner engagement meetings
• A willingness to make recommendations for streamlining or adjusting existing policies
• Effectively collaborate with other team members and various departments

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of media, content, advertising industry experience
• Specific knowledge of Connected TV, Streaming, or FAST services is a huge plus
• An understanding and hands-on use of analytics tools and services (ex. Conviva, Adobe, Google Analytics, Wurl, Amagi, etc.)
• Understanding complexities and organizational skills are essential to contribute in a matrixed company
• Insightful and outside the box thinking, to create strategic solutions or troubleshoot issues, and later communicate to these updates effectively to senior members of the team
• Interpret industry news, business/finance information, and weigh relevancy to consumer behavior
