LF Raw Ingredient Worker wknd shift

Join Barrett Petfood as a Full Time Raw Ingredient Associate in Little Falls, Minnesota, where you’ll work alongside a dedicated team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This onsite role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to our customer-centric mission and innovative product development.

Responsibilities

• Chip frozen meat blocks apart
• Run meat blocks through meat processing equipment
• Mix ingredients together
• Add oils as needed per customer specifications
• Clean Meat Room equipment throughout shift and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
• Use forklift to unload shipments into freezer and stage product for processing when needed
• Receive, inspect, and store raw ingredients while adhering to quality and safety protocols
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain an organized workplace
• Operate machinery and conduct inventory checks
• Collaborate with various departments to meet production goals
• Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Observant, with the ability to inspect raw materials and ensure they meet quality standards
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members
• Proactive attitude toward problem-solving
• Commitment to safety practices and willingness to learn industry regulations
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory
• Ability to lift 50 pounds at times

Schedule

• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, one weekday plus Saturday and Sunday
• Training schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay

Competitive pay range of $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.
