About the Role
ADB Wireless is seeking a Level III Tower Technician with at least 2 years of experience in the wireless industry. The Level III Technician will work under the direct supervision of senior Tower professionals, assisting in the training and development of Level I and II Technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, well-being, and a strong work ethic, aligning with ADB's ALL IN culture.
Responsibilities
- Decommission towers and tower equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform PIM tests, RF Sweep tests, and Fiber tests from the top of the tower
- Install and route coax, hybrid trunks, and jumpers
- Hang booms, mounts, antennas, and equipment, including rigging in Class IV scenarios
- Layout and install Ice Bridges, using cad welds
- Build and install tower platforms
- Route and secure hybrid cables and jumpers
- Fabricate steel in the field and on the tower
- Wire Raycaps and install Flash Technology lighting controllers
- Troubleshoot fiber, power, and RF issues using PIM/Sweep gear and fiber testers
- Rig towers in Class III scenarios
- Install microwave dishes, antennas, RRUs, and other wireless equipment
- Develop skills based on the Career Advancement Matrix (CAM)
- Climb and work on communications towers for installation, replacement, and repair
- Perform tower maintenance under supervision
- Use and maintain hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Take Pre-Construction and Closeout photos

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the wireless industry (required)
- First Aid / CPR certification (preferred)
- RF Awareness Training (preferred)
- OSHA10 certification (preferred)
Work Environment
- Physical demands: sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing
- Exposure to noise, weather conditions (hot, cold, humidity, rain)
- Required PPE: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, steel-toed boots
Pay
The starting pay for this position is $26 per hour and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
