About the role

ATS is seeking a full-time Level II/III Vibration Analyst/IR/UE/MCE Technician for its subsidiary, Reliability Testing Services, LLC. This position is based around Sacramento, CA, with possible travel to surrounding states.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Reliability Engineering teams to conduct vibration testing programs for a variety of equipment.
  • Perform testing to meet deadlines and workload requirements.
  • Review customer specifications to support testing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing and strictly follow internal QA policies.
  • Perform data collection activities as directed.
  • Interface with clients as part of the service organization.

Requirements

Technical

  • Level II/III Vibration Analyst certification.
  • IR (Infrared Thermography) certification.
  • UE (Ultrasound Emission) certification.
  • MCE (Motor Circuit Evaluation) certification.
  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Offline Motor Testing experience a plus.
  • Experience with Emonitor Vibration Software a plus.

Personal/Team

  • Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Ability to travel in the Sacramento area.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-starter with honesty and integrity.
  • Capable of multitasking and quickly absorbing a variety of test procedures and methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle fast-changing priorities in a quality-driven environment.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • U.S. Persons Only: This position requires access to ITAR-controlled information, so only U.S. citizens, nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees will be considered.

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection.
  • Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
  • Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
  • Work in and around operating equipment and industrial environments.
  • Exposure to radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, and film-developing chemicals.
  • Ability to work shifts up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week, and travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.

Pay

Hourly range: $50–$60/hr.
