Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations during your shift, including cost controls, inventory, cash management, and customer relations.
- Set the example for your team by adhering to all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
- Manage staffing, paperwork, food preparation, scheduling, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a perfect image and adherence to brand standards.
- Ensure great customer service, attendance, and punctuality.

General Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all store equipment and stock ingredients.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Skills and Qualifications

- Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing quickly and accurately (may use a calculator).
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to process orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., shaping dough, using a pizza peel).
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (e.g., removing trash, deliveries).
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F+).
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Sensory requirements: talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, and make judgments/decisions.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks performed while standing on ceramic tile or linoleum; work surfaces between 36"–48" high.
- Walking: Short distances/durations; delivery personnel travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
- Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Unload bulk deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck; stack cases onto shelves up to 72" high. Carry pizza sauce (30 lbs), dough trays (12 lbs each), and pizzas/beverages during deliveries.
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 lbs).
- Climbing: Navigate stairs/ladder for tasks like changing signs, maintenance, or multi-story deliveries.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly station (30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously). Bending required at front counter and for stocking.
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously up, down, and forward (e.g., oven controls, ingredients, cleaning, phones).
- Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated area; may make several deliveries per shift.
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination for shaping dough, using pizza peel/cutter, assembling boxes, and grasping tools/ingredients.
Tools and Equipment
- Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment.
- Pizza cutter, pizza peel, and other kitchen tools.
Delivery-Specific Duties
- Deliver product by car and to customer doors.
- Distribute flyers and door hangers.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
