LEU+ Health and Safety (EHS) Liaison
About The Role
As a LEU+ Health and Safety (EHS) Liaison you will provide field-based EH&S support for construction activities by promoting safe work practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with contractors and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with project EH&S requirements, OSHA, and applicable standards
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and daily walkdowns to identify hazards
- Participate in hazard assessments and verify work controls
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Communicate safety concerns and support continuous improvement
- Strengthen proper PPE use and safe work practices
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Support safety meetings, orientations, and field coaching
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in construction safety or EH&S field environments
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, and safe work practices
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and permitting processes
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
- Documentation skills
- Identify risks and support corrective actions in a field setting
- 3+ years of experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments (e.g., CFFF)
- 3+ years of experience working with subcontractors in construction settings
- Background in mechanical, piping, HVAC, or fabrication
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $76,400 to $95,500 per year.
