Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and book goods into the computer system
- Check delivery documents and data, and store goods properly
- Monitor inventory levels, perform stock transfers, and assemble customer orders (picking)
- Transport goods within the warehouse and prepare them for delivery
- Pack, load, and secure goods in trucks or railcars
- Serve customers directly at the counter or loading ramp
- Execute postal shipments
Requirements
- Completed compulsory education (secondary level or 10th grade) with strong grades in mathematics
- Logical thinking and precise work ethic
- Reliability and sense of responsibility
- Teamwork and good interpersonal skills
- Robust physical condition

The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (LBA) provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army, managing materials, systems, and infrastructure with around 3,500 employees and 12,000 militia members. The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions across 110 locations nationwide. It also trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
