Job Summary

N236 Microbiology
This course focuses on general microbiology concepts essential for maintaining clean environments and preventing infectious diseases. It covers local and global bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections, as well as basic epidemiological principles and immunizations.

Responsibilities

  • Teach didactic sections including weekly lectures, office hours, and student meetings.
  • Develop and evaluate student assignments.
  • Compute final grades in a timely manner.
  • Teach in a hospital or clinic setting, possibly including on-site work hours.

Required Qualifications

  • A master's degree is required.
  • Prioritization for applicants with didactic teaching experience and content expertise in microbiology.
  • To start, must comply with health requirements including BLS certification.
