LEO Lecturer I ME 349 Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan - Dearborn invites applications for a lecturer LEO position. The Duties Will Include:
Teaching one section of ME 349 Instrumentation and Measurement Systems and two sections of the accompanying ME349L Instrumentation and Measurement Systems Laboratories.
Reviewing the current laboratory assignments and preparing new laboratory manuals for ME 320L Fluid Mechanics Laboratories and ME371L Heat transfer Laboratories.
Assisting the course instructor in one section of ME320L Fluid Mechanics Laboratories.
This is a 75% lecturer LEO I position. ME349 Instrument & Measuremt Systems covers topics such as calibration, error analysis, and dynamic response characteristics of instrumentation, along with specific transducer systems and interfacing techniques.
Requirements
A successful candidate will have a PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area, expertise in methods of experiment and measurements, and knowledge of undergraduate Mechanical Engineering curriculum. Candidates will be evaluated based on submitted CV, teaching evaluations, and relevant recommendations.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- A PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area.
- Expertise in methods of experiment and measurements.
- Knowledge of undergraduate Mechanical Engineering curriculum.
