About the role

The Lending Products Manager works within Hawaii State Federal Credit Union’s Product Strategy Department. You will be responsible for making data-informed, member-focused decisions to drive the strategic direction for growing and evolving the consumer loans product portfolio as well as debit and credit card products. In this role, you will dream big, be curious, and utilize data and trends to make strategic recommendations for HSFCU’s lending products. You will work with an inspired department to manage and grow existing product lines, while recommending new product lines and exploring new growth opportunities on an ongoing basis. This position is located at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance, growth, and direction of consumer lending and card products, using data and insights to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Lead product launches, campaigns, or changes from concept through implementation, measurement, and lessons learned.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to execute strategic initiatives and product enhancements.
  • Leverage data to create forecasting and scenarios based on strategic choices; analyze data over time and communicate results across the organization.
  • View product experience through a member-centric lens, providing recommendations to enhance the lending or cards experience.
  • Monitor regulatory trends, communicate risks, and keep awareness of product trends and new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic execution, management, or influence of consumer products or services at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience building and navigating relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders to influence and catalyze product strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer lending products including auto loans, personal loans, credit cards, lines of credit, and home equity lending products.
  • Knowledge of product management principles, market research methodologies, competitive analysis, and strategic planning processes.
  • Understanding of digital banking channels and evolving consumer financial services trends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of lending operations, underwriting principles, credit risk management, and portfolio performance measures.
  • Analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret portfolio data, market trends, member behavior, and financial performance metrics.

Pay

Base Annual Salary Range: $86,800 - $113,925 per year. Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
