Lending Assistant I

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties for one or more senior-level loan officers engaged in commercial and consumer loans.
• Type, file, answer phones, greet, and assist customers and potential customers.
• Aid customers with the loan application process and prepare applications for the lending officers' review.
• Coordinate with loan processors to ensure timely completion and submission of documentation for loan closings once approved.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Participate in the Customer Service First culture, supporting the organization's values and following established company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate with at least three years of secretarial/administrative experience, preferably in commercial or personal loans.
• Mathematical and general business knowledge.
• Good customer relations and communications skills.
• Accuracy, flexibility, reliability, initiative, confidentiality, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and customer relations skills are crucial.
