Responsibilities
- Reviews, processes, records, and maintains title records for secured vehicle loans.
- Contacts state Motor Vehicle Administration regarding any corrections that need to be made to properly reflect collateral for loans.
- Processes lien release papers for secured loans when loans are paid off.
- Responds to all member inquiries affecting title work and insurance claims.
- Utilizes tact and experience-based knowledge to resolve member problems while maintaining positive member relations.
- Makes outbound calls, texts, and emails to gather appropriate documents to book loans quickly.
- Collects, disburses, and records loan information in the Credit Union systems and official records.
- Reviews scanned loan documents for accuracy in indexing and that the loan file is complete.
- Notifies loan personnel when documents are missing.
- Ensures documentation is complete for compliance.
- Scans and purges documents as needed.
- Adds force placed insurance on appropriate loans.
- Adjusts member payments, notifies member, and documents actions in loan notes.
- Monitors reports and brings significant items to supervisor's attention.
- Processes credit and share insurance claims, and acts as the liaison between the members and insurance companies.
- Reviews monthly property tax records to ensure members are in good standing.
- Handles Synapsys tickets and other administrative tasks, such as general filing and special projects.
- Handles all incoming and outgoing mail/faxes and delivers FedEx at the end of the day.
- Notifies managers when any supplies run low.
- Performs other job related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Is cross-trained to back up during absences.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in banking, financial services or mortgage experience.
- Any education level.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
Work Environment
Financial institution office environment requiring the use of standard office equipment including computer, fax, copier, scanner, telephone, etc.
Pay
$20 - $21 per hour
