Responsibilities
- Supports the Legislative Aide in District 2 in all aspects of legislative work.
- Assists in preparing briefing materials for meetings and hearings.
- Researches and compiles data on legislative issues relevant to the district.
- Coordinates with stakeholders and attends meetings as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a legislative or governmental environment.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal government processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
Schedule
This position is full-time and works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
